Our grade 8 students will be learning about the 3-D shapes. We plan to learn the volume of the 3dimensional shapes. We have already made a chart about important things we need to remember. We already learned about circumference and area of circles. We use what we know to find the area of big shapes or composite shapes by breaking them up into smaller 2 dimensional shpaes we know.

Our school, from kindergarden to grade 8 will be having a special spirit day! We get to dress up as our favorite character from a story and we will do so on Thursday, January 24, 2013!

Last spirt day we had 98% participation. This spirit day we hope to have 100% perticipation!!!
