Palm oil is oil that is used to make our products, food, and things we use. Palm oil is a cheap replacment for canola oil and vegetable oil.  It lasts longer then the other oils, which is easier to use with. The only problem is, where it comes from.  Palm oil is made from palm trees, and comes from rainforests like Borneo. The forest is being depopulated from trees, and the living life that belong there, like the orangutans and other life. We need to make a change in using this product, or else in the next five years, the forests could be gone and the monkeys will become extinct.
